Sandra White Current

Sandy was born in Petersburg, VA to Bob and Marge White. Sandy and her family moved to Colorado in 1973. She graduated from Manitou Springs High School in 1979. In 1984 she married Ed Current with whom she spent the rest of her life. Sandy and Ed moved to Tucson, while working for Pima County she attended The University of Arizona and graduated in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in science. She retired from Pima County as a Senior Program Manager.

Sandy was an avid sports fan. She loved tennis, the Broncos and especially the Red Sox. She had a competitive spirit and would play any type of game. Music was a big part of her life, singing and playing her guitar gave her great joy. She had an infectious laugh and quick sense of humor. Above all was her love and devotion to Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Among those who welcome her to Heaven are her mother, father, mother-in-law, Thelma, sister, Kathy Leiweke and brothers-in-law, Clint Leiweke and Byron Henderson.

We who will rejoice to see her again are her husband, Ed, her brother-in-law, Greg, sisters, Teri Henderson and Kim Kleinschmit, brothers, Jim, Danny and Bobby, brother-in-law, Kerry Kleinschmit, sister-in-law, Eden White, several aunts and uncles, a dozen nieces and nephews and a slew of cousins.

A Memorial Service for Sandy will be: Saturday, March 8th @ 10:00 a.m., at North Swan Baptist Church, 2727 N. Swan Road, Tucson, AZ

In lieu of flowers, Sandy had requested that donations be made to the ALS Assc.
