Kevin Joseph Kinstler, Jr.

June 13, 1967 — March 15, 2025

Tucson

Kevin Joseph Kinstler, Jr., was born June 13, 1967 in Annapolis, Maryland and died March 15, 2025 in Tucson, Arizona.

Kevin was an ardent Dead Head. He followed the Grateful Dead for 10 years, town to town, and state to state. He was very passionate about music, and had the best stories to tell about his many adventures (“what a long, strange trip it’s been”). He loved being outdoors in nature, and enjoyed hiking with loved ones. Kevin was also a gifted artist. He could draw anything and make it come to life, which led to him becoming a talented tattoo artist.

Kevin had a tumultuous path in life, but always had a kind and gentle heart. He spoke to anyone with ease and made them comfortable. There wasn't a dog that crossed his path that he didn't love on. Bugs and spiders were relocated, not killed. Every life had value.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Kevin Joseph Kinstler, Sr., and his, nephew Riley Wood.

He is survived by his daughter, Gloriah Williams, and son, Zachary. Kevin is also survived by his loving mother, Christine Kinstler; sisters, Kathleen Cook, Theresa (Mark) Posthuma, and Mary Beth Wood, and many nieces and nephews. Last, but certainly never least, Kevin is survived by his champion-supporter-protector-bestfriend Xie-Christie Higgins, and many friends. As Kevin would say… “right on”.

Service are pending. Contact Xie (Christie) for details.
