Dennis Wayne Rankin

Dennis Wayne Rankin, a devoted public servant, loving family man, and kind-hearted individual, passed away on August 15, 2024, at the age of 69, in Tucson, Arizona.

Born on April 20, 1955, Dennis proudly served his country as an Air Force veteran in Security Forces. He continued his commitment to public safety as both a Police Officer and Firefighter, following in his father's footsteps.

Dennis was one of last, “Good Ole Boys”. Known for his generous spirit, always willing to share and help those in need. He selflessly gave back to his community through various volunteer efforts, embodying the true meaning of service.

His love for his country was unwavering, and he lived by the Cowboy code of honor, inspiring those around him. He treasured history. Loved the outdoors, and held a deep faith always keeping the Lord close to heart. 

He is survived by his sister Penny (Frank), brother Randy (Anita), children Dennis (Don), Dene (Ray), Paul, and Megan.

Dennis' legacy of service, faith, family, and community will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him. His kind heart and generous spirit will continue to inspire and uplift those whose lives he touched.

Dennis's "Celebration of Life" will be held on Monday 10/28/2024 at East Lawn Palms Cemetery 5801 E. Grant Rd., Tucson, Arizona 10:30 am.
